Prestons Ginnel

In 2008, Ed Dennison Archaeological Services of Beverley were commissioned by Park Lane Homes to undertake a comprehensive survey of the Maltings at Prestons Ginnel before their demolition to make way for new properties to be built by Park Lane Homes.

The Maltings were one of six Malting Kilns present in Thorner in 1834 supplying malted barley to the brewing business.
